DDoS Mitigation and Protection Services

Prolexic’s DDoS mitigation and protection goes beyond network appliances and intrusion detection to prevent network traffic from being interrupted by distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. With our DDoS mitigation services, you can avoid DDoS attacks and downtime due to malicious hackers.

Our DDoS mitigation services stop and prevent the Internet’s largest cyber-attacks

DDoS attacks are getting bigger and more complex. With limited bandwidth and sophistication, other DDoS mitigation service providers can no longer mitigate or prevent today’s multi-vector DoS and DDoS attacks.

Prolexic’s DDoS mitigation services are different – they have more capacity . . . backed by 2.3 Tbps of dedicated mitigation bandwidth on Prolexic’s Cloud Security Platform. They are implemented in minutes and stop all attacks. They even discourage DDoS attacks. DDoS attackers who see traffic has been rerouted through our DDoS mitigation network will often immediately abandon their attacks. They know they are no match for our live, expert DDoS mitigation personnel who make up 100% of our resources.

Prolexic mitigation services offer better website response times under DDoS attack conditions

Putting DDoS protection in place is not enough. Under attack situations, you need to have the right DDoS protection to ensure your website and mission-critical network infrastructure remains available at all times.

Dedicated DDoS mitigation network for the best DDoS protection

Prolexic has a dedicated DDoS mitigation network well in excess of 2.3 Tbps.

  • DDoS mitigation for every application layer including Layer 3, 4, and 7

  • Proven solutions against encrypted attacks that vandalize HTTPS traffic in real time

  • Certified FIPS-140-2 Level 3 key management encryption tools with passive SSL decryption provide extremely high performance

Prolexic’s DDoS mitigation services

There are multiple methods of activating the DDoS mitigation and prevention service to protect your network:

  • PLXrouted – When our Security Operations Center (SOC) personnel detect a DDoS attack by monitoring your on-premise equipment, this traffic-routing service is activated using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). As a result, your network traffic is automatically routed to our global network of traffic scrubbing centers.

  • PLXproxy You initiate a DNS change to redirect your network traffic to our global DDoS mitigation network of traffic scrubbing centers. This service is suitable for small to medium businesses and all firms under immediate attack.

  • PLXconnect This service delivers Prolexic’s routed DDoS mitigation service over a direct physical connection from your network through a private cloud to our DDoS traffic scrubbing centers. Clean pipe dedicated circuits® and a direct, physical connection allows you to:

    • Easily activate Prolexic DDoS protection for an entire subnet

    • Redirect Internet traffic to our network during a denial of service attack and away from the Prolexic network when your network is not under DDoS attack

    • No impact to Maximum Transmission Units (MTUs)

    • Predictable latency and high throughput

Why Prolexic?

In an industry full of DDoS mitigation service providers making big promises, only Prolexic has the expertise, experience and track record to mitigate all DDoS attacks. That’s why DDoS attacks end here.
